The Space

A clean, well lit and uncluttered space defines the essence of comfort to let you be you, with most needs taken into consideration.

Open floorpan with tall ceilings and windows allow natural light to flow into the combination living, dining and kitchen space. The extra large island is multipurpose; meal preparation while sharing conversation with family and friends, or comfortable for dining up to six people.

Spa like bathroom with high end shower experience, cast iron soaker tub, dimmable lighting, plush towels, magnifying mirror and hair dryer with diffuser (you are welcome curlies :-) )

Main bedroom on first floor offers a very comfortable queen bed, Apple TV and nightstands on both sides with dimmable side lamps and charging bricks.

Stairs take you to a partial open loft that serves as a second bedroom with a queen size bed with treetop views. Side lamps that dim and charging bricks available.

Outdoor area offers the comforts of relaxing and dining around the fire table.

Guest access

This is a newly constructed independent structure, with it's own covered patio and parking area.

There is a separate studio for 1-2 people located on the same acre lot and may be available as well should you need a place for 6 people. It is partially separated by a wooden privacy fence between the two locations.

Neighborhood offers quiet streets with large oaks for a peaceful walk or run.

Other things to note

Well provisioned - After years of vacationing in rental homes and all too often finding ourselves wishing for that "one" thing, we sought to equip the cottage to accommodate almost any need. Our aim is to make your stay, whether long or short to be as seamless as possible.

Lighting means everything - Almost every light switch in the house is on a dimmer, so as the evening roles in, you can dial to create your desired ambiance.

Not ideal for small children under 5. This place has steep stairs and concrete floors.

We love our neighborhood and so will you, please be considerate of our neighbors and keep the noise level at a thoughtful level.

Pet Policy:

We love dogs and are open to hosting you and your with your dog. We require details about your dog prior to booking. If you choose to book, please agree to the following:

• Your dog must be housebroken, non-aggressive, not destructive, and not display repeated unprovoked barking.
• Dog needs to be on leash unless highly trained. The lot is not fenced, so dog must be on a leash if not well trained as we have other animals in the neighborhood who walk by.
• Please keep the dog off the furniture (sofa and beds) and counters.
• Your dog should not be left unattended. They must go with you when you leave. We have many kids in the neighborhood who could possibly help dog sit if you need a solution.
• Your dog must use the bathroom outside, and dog mess must be picked up and properly disposed immediately. We are happy to supply bags. (no inside pee pads allowed).
• You are responsible for your dog's behavior and for the cost of any additional cleaning, repairs or replacements as a result.

We live on a completely separate property next door and are available should you need anything.
